These are the test shots for my first location: the beach. When filming these shots, I discovered that filming at this location may prove difficult due to the weather and the unpredictable wind. when filming I must be careful to choose the most appropriate day to film; for the music video to work, this scene requires a cold day with windy weather in order for it to look cosy and to link in with the idea that even after a difficult date as the weather was cold, they still laugh about it and
Hold On. Filming in this location with particular windy conditions would be a major issues if sound was needed, but as I am producing a music video, this is not an issue. Filming at this location will also be difficult if it is incredibly windy as I found out during the test shots. This is because there is not a lot of weight on the tripod and so it is likely to blow away in strong winds. However, to avoid this issue I will have to ensure that I have someone who can also hold the camera and tripod whilst I film to make sure that it stays firmly in the correct place.
This was my location for the interjecting clips of the artist singing, this location was much easier to control than my first location, as you can see from the test shot, this is because I din't have to battle with the natural elements like I had to at the beach. Also, the lighting was very predictable for this location, thus making filming much easier.
